Abiding the rules and website terms and policy
Everyone who visits this site is expected to abide by the rules and terms, to avoid any form of complications and to keep the community a healthy discussion environment. Rules on this site are subject to change without notice, it is important to keep yourself updated with the latest changes to the website rules and policy. Any modifications to the rules/terms/policy will be notified as a news post on the website index.
Spamming and flooding
Spamming and flooding this site will not be tolerated. Posting more than 1 SIMILAR post in a short period of time is considered spamming. Any act of spamming or flooding the bulletin boards, comments system, or any part of the site, will not be tolerated. Please be mindful that appropriate action will be taken on such occurances.
Hacking and server hammering
Any form of hacking is prohibited. This also includes exploits in the site engine. If you feel that something you're doing may be an exploit or a form of hacking, don't do it.
Respect in the community
Although this community is a social community, I expect respect in this community. Not just to me, but to everyone, including the staff. Any form of impolite speech used on this site will result to a warning being sent to the user and if repeated, the user will be banned. To keep a friendly environment in this site, moderators are given permission to EDIT or even DELETE any user posts/comments if necessary. Site administrators have full power over users 'stay' in the site, do not abuse that previlage.
Illegal / Underground activities
No illegal activities on OR to this site will be tolerated, whether in the form of private messaging, forums posting, or email. Warez, or links to warez sites should never be posted on this site. Moderators are to lock/edit/delete topics with promotion of warez related material, or in worse circumstances, promotion of Kenetiix related commercial products. Although here at Kenetix we ensure your confidential information is kept safely, Kenetix reserves the right to expose that information if a user is committing any illegal offences without anyone's knowledge.
Insults and criticism
Only provide constructive criticism on this site. No form of insulting is tolerated, whether to Kenetix OR to any other members. If you feel that someone is trying to start something with you, ignore the person, or report the incident to the staff. Do not take matters in your own hands and make the site a battlefield, just control yourself and let justice take its place.
Help others when you can
Kenetix.net is a free resource community. Resources, help, and support are provided on a voluntary basis. If you find that you are able to help someone in the community with his/her problem(s), do not hesitate to do so. The more helpful members around the community, the better this place will be, and the more you can learn from this site.
Registering Multiple Accounts
Technically every user is only entitled to ONE account on this site. However, some have the tendency to register many accounts to keep their identity as an anonymous, new user. This does not work here at Kenetix, all users can't 'hide', even by registering for multiple accounts, or even by accessing the site via a proxy server. To keep things less strict, you are entitled to register for a maximum of 3 accounts per person. Users with more than 3 accounts will have their accounts deactivated and deleted.
Accessive Use of Capitalized letters
Limit the use of accessive capitalized letters. To some it may seem offensive (or shouting).
Signature and Avatars
Each member is entitled to having two images for their profile, one for their avatar and one for their signature. Avatars are to be kept 'clean', no profanity or porn. Avatars with any insulting comments towards other members, Kenetix staff, or Kenetix himself is prohibited. As stated before, people of all ages visit this community, keep a healthy environment by keeping your 'stuff' clean.
Advertising Policy
The advertising policy is simple.
All advertisements should be free from warez, porn, or anything illegal. Advertising on this site is free (news posting, forums posting) but it is expected to be minimal. This means you do not spam offers/advertisements of your products/services on the forums and news repetitively. Contiuous spamming of ads OR illegal advertisements will result to ONE warning notification being sent out. Failure to abide to the first warning will result to an instant ban.
Redistribution of commercial themes.
To cut things short, this is illegal and wrong. Not only is it against the Kenetix terms and theme license, you can be sued. I'm not going to go into all about the word 'sue' here, since too many use it all the time. The bottomline is this - If you are caught redistributing any theme, especially themes of this site which are commercial, all action to shut you down and get you reported will be done. This isn't childs play, this is serious business. This is exactly why a license was created.
